After doing maintenance on the project before making the new Kladd2 project with those I am going to keep ,I got the same errormessage "OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from Panels: Maximum Panels Exceeded.." I can choose between Cancel ,ignore or help. G'day Rowan I set up a new Custom Tag for Email. It has a sentence:    [:CR:] [PP] Email address <[D]> was [M] In a report this shows as: John's Email address at 10 May 2018 was jjones@gmail The actual entry for the Email then just requires a Date and the Email address, which goes in the TMG's MEMO field. By having a Date, I keep track of people's most recent contact with me, though I don't record a change of date of a few days or even a month or so as that would get rather tedious. The main thing is that I can see my correspondents who haven't been in contact for a while. Then, if I send an email to a person and it "bounces", I use the Tag to show this by setting the Date and putting the word NOT: before that old email address, so I know then I need to try phone or real letter contact to discover the person's new email address. My Tag sentence in a Report would then show something like: John's Email address at 15 June 2018 was NOT: jjones@gmail.com I have a report to List Email addresses, as an Event: SORT            FIELD TITLE            LENGTH 1            Prin1 Surname (Selected)        Surname        15 2            Prin1 Given (Selected)                Given     20               Date - Year Year                4               Memo Email            40               Prin1 ID     ID                 6 It is easy enough to change the Sort Order for output so it lists them in Email Address order, with names as secondary. I pick up a lot of family info from Ancestry.com I create a SOURCE with the file name, tree #. I put the Person # for the first entry of that source in as AUTHOR. For the additional person info I am collecting, I add the specific person # in the citation memo. That way I can always find the information again. I didn’t always do that and have wanted to go back and find some of the info where I only put the persons email address in as the source... (of course, some of those emails are no longer active). Hi, John, A month ago, I installed your TMG utility to help me solve GEDCOM tags for Name-Variation. I won't bother with details for why but your utility solved a vexing problem for me. Following that success, I followed the donation link with the intention of doing so. But, I got an error. This morning while researching another use for your utility, I ran across a Rootsweb thread that you had posted to this month about "fixing" the donation link. When you do, I'll make a donation. This morning I tried to use your Set Living Flag = N functionality. When I did that (on Windows 7) I get a subscript error message. I solved that by restarting the utility and it worked fine. Not required, Rowan. Both TMG and Second Site are already know how to deal with this. As I mentioned in my earlier reply, the trick is to > use one of the People Source Elements > (Author, Compiler, Editor, Subject, Second Person) as the field within the Source Definition. You only need to enter the ID number of a person in the project in that field. Both TMG and SecondSite will *automatically* replace the ID number in one of those fields with the Primary name of that person. The name will show in the TMG screen display or TMG report of any citation to that source. And in SecondSite that name will *automatically* be a hyperlink to that person's page in the site, whether the name appears in a citation on a person page or in the Source entry in the Source List. There is nothing else needed to identify or link to this person than putting the ID number in one of these special Source Element fields. It really is that simple!! Michael

And after TMG had been working some time I was asked if wanted to back up etc as usual. I did that ,got some error message I didn`t write down. Then quit TMG ,restarted the "kladd" project ,and tried to access the new project "Kladd2" that I had tried to make from the List of People. First time ,I wasn`t able to access it ,but after reindexing ,I was able to take a look at Kladd2 project. I noticed right away that it was name trouble there. So now I have deleted the Kladd2 project ,and am now running maintenance (optimizing ,validating ,optimize) on the main "Kladd" project. That will finish tomorrow ,about 12 hours from now.
