    3. Thank you for the interesting Threlkeld info. I trust that you know about the Deodatus Threlkeld , the mariner living in Norfolk VA...who had a will in 1728...son of a Deodatus married to a Hannah Anderson and a grandson of William Threlkeld who was the Chaplain for the Earl of Carlise in Durham England. I had always wondered where the Deodatus name came from!....It sounds to me like the name must be from Hannah Anderson from Norway....sounds like the adventurous English mariner went to Norway as well as America! Do you know anything about the Anderson line?...Were they from Norway? I am descended from a Christopher Threlkeld (from Threlkeld England...near Carlise) about the same period of history......do you know of any relationship between the 1728 Deodatus to a Christopher who was in VA in 1710? My middle name is Threlkeld(my maternal ancestors) and I have always been very proud of that name. I have recently been in touch via Email with a Threlkeld still living near Carlise. -----Original Message----- From: threlkeld-request <[email protected]> To: threlkeld <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, Jul 11, 2011 4:02 am Subject: THRELKELD Digest, Vol 6, Issue 5 Today's Topics: 1. antique watch ([email protected]) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 ate: Sun, 10 Jul 2011 17:27:09 -0000 rom: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> ubject: [THRELKELD] antique watch o: <[email protected]> essage-ID: <[email protected]> ontent-Type: text/plain; This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
