    3. Remote In-home Access The following is a list of some libraries that offer in-home access to HeritageQuest Online. Most of the libraries offer FREE access. http://www.eogen.com/HeritageQuestOnline Info above from Dick Eastman. ================ Be sure you use the "Advanced" census search. You can only search for the exact spelling of a name. So be sure you try all possible spelling variations. Name spellings in census records can be totally unlike you expect. You can search for a given (first) name and location, which can be very useful for unique names. You can also search for all the people with a surname in a state or county or census district. The Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com census records are two of the very best sources for genealogy data. Be sure you add source notes or events that specify the source of your data to your genealogy program. Listing census data as events in sequential order in your genealogy program provides a great way to show the different birth years reported for the same individual over the years, and their "migration route". I am not currently monitoring all the rootsweb lists this message is addressed to, so please send any comment or question to me at my personal E-Mail address, not by using reply and sending it to the list.
