Pam, Should I have mentioned that my g-grandfather, Perry Wayne Thorne was legally named Perry Wayne Wesley Thorn? Hmmm.... now I'm really curious about the connection with Daniel Wade Thorn and wife Sarah Caroline Green. Wasn't it her father whose name was Wesley? After many years of searching, I just 10 minutes ago found a listing for a Hilliard H. Thorn listed in the 1870 Hickman County, Kentucky census at FamilyTreeMaker.com. Supposedly my Perry Wayne Wesley Thorn's father was named Hilliard or Hillyard so this is a great find! Now I'm trying to find the written census online so I can see if my Perry is listed as his son.
