Joyce, Thanks for the list of names and dates. I'm going to spend a couple of days looking through them carefully and comparing.... BUT.... I can verify that I recognize the name of Susan Washburn born about 1805 in Tennessee. I've never found her in the records but I remember that name from family discussions in years past and I think I have some crusty old pictures of her locked away in hiding. I definitely recognize the name. Are you telling me the first name on your list, Generation No. 1, James Thorn born about 1800 married to Susan Washburn is the same James Thorn, wagonmaker in the 1850 Dickson County, Tennessee census? With children, Catherine, Ann, Hilliard, Anabelle, William and Columbus? If that is indeed Susan WASHBURN, then they are my.....oh my! let's see now.... Ida Belle Thorne was my grandmother, Perry Wayne Wesley Thorn was my g-grandfather, Hilliard Thorn was my gg-grandfather and James and Susan were my ggg-grandparents.... oh my. I think 200 years of brick walls just crumbled and fell on the floor. I think I need to excuse myself for a few minutes to clear away a few tears and goosebumps. I definitely need to take a few deep breaths.... I'll be back with you as soon as possible. Wow. Thank you doesn't seem adequate all of a sudden. Let's keep the CHAT and Roll Call going. Miracles are definitely happening here. Amy McCroskie Denver, CO
