    3. Elmer, Put your census data for all years that apply on a multiyear census form. Record the birth years for all family members. See if the family birth years and sexes match in multiple years. Please let me know if you find an Arthur Thorne born PA about 1897, living in West Virginia about 1934. He was in Ohio in 1935. His first 5 children were all listed as being born in Va bet 1800- 1816. > Question: > In the 1810 Federal Census there were only > 14 William Thorn/Thorne listed in the total census index. > 8 were in New York, 4 were in Virginia, 1 in Maine and 1 in Ky. > There is one in Virginia which is in Prince William Co that matches my WIlliam. Could there have been a lot more William Thorns that was missed by the census back in 1810? Can I go by my strong assumptions that the one in Prince WIlliam Co is +90% my WIlliam Thorn? > > I would like feedback from some of you that have been researching for some time please. > > ______________________________
