Thanks for the roll call. I really appreciate the opportunity to compare notes. My line is Perry W. W. Thorne, born approximately 1850 in Tennessee. Perry married Martha Ann Richardson from Missouri and they settled in Trinity County, TX in the late 1870's. GGrandpa Perry's full name was Perry Wayne Wesley Thorn. His parents were James Thorn, born about 1803 in SC and Susan McClintock. They were in Hickman County, Kentucky in 1860. From what I'm following from other researchers, James Thorn's father was possibly John Thorn born about 1773 in Maryland. Wife Rebecca born about 1775 in NC; John died in Dickson County, Tennessee. John Thorn's parents were Benjamin Thorn born about 1733 in MD and wife Amelia Artis Swann. His father: James Thorn born about 1704 in Maryland; wife Susannah Burch Does this line sound familiar to anyone? I haven't much, but willing share anything I have to help.
