To Merlyncwilson Where do your Thornes come from? I have a John Thorne b. 1794 who lived in Jefferson Co IND. He was married to Margaret Blue in 1818. I haven't been able to find his parents or exactly where he was born. He said he was born in MD and another census says another state I think IND. But not sure. ANyway do you know anything about the Thornes in Jefferson Co IND? There is a John Thorn who left a will in 1818 and named a son John in his will but I can't prove he's his father. Thanks.
