    2. John THORN married Sarah LLEWELLYN at Newland, Gloucestershire, England on 9 April 1815. (not sure they are actually the parents of the following children due to time span.) Richard Thorne b. abt 1830 Lucy Ann Thorne b. November 25, 1831, m. James Hale at St. Paul Church, West Dean, Gloucestershire August 07, 1853. James and Lucy (Thorne) Hale had 7 children in England then came to north america in about May or June of 1866 probably landing at Halifax. They entered the USA at Port Sarnia/Port Huron, MI in about 1866, settled in Cook Co., IL then in 1871, moved to Marshall and Story County, Iowa.
