I am attempting to find the maiden name of Jean Leverett, wife of Thomas Leverett of Lunenburg Co., Va. Thomas Leverett dies in 1783 and by 1788 the sons and mother have moved to the Carolinas. Some researchers have stated she (Jean Leverett) was a Thorn before her marriage. Sister to Susannah Thorn who may have married George Hightower.
