Barbara, Do you know where in Va Jacob was born? My William Thorn (2) was born in Prince William Co and moved to Jackson Co Ohio (neighboring Ross Co) in 1817. His father was John born abt 1748 in Prince William Co and John's father was William (1) born abt 1685-90 in Va or England. Also ,what year was your Jacob born? The only way he would be connected to my line is if he were a brother to William 1685-90 or a nephew to William. The only son recorded for William b 1685-90 is John Thorn abt 1748.
