Annabel Jean Thorne was born on 11 April 1935 at St. Thomas Hospital, in Summit County Ohio. Her father is listed as born in Meade PA, age 38 on last birthday (born abt 1897). Residence is listed as Route # 6, Akron, Ohio. He had been employed as a laborer at Colonial Glass Works, Cameron, WV. He worked there for 6 months. He last worked in Oct 1934. Her mother is listed as born Norfolk VA, age 36 on her last birthday (born abt 1899), worked at housework in own home. I can not find any data on them on the Internet that is a good match. They had Victoria born in 1882 in Ark, William Andrew born in 1882 in Ark. Martha E. born in 1888 in Ark, Annie M. born in 1890 in Texas, Dora D born in Texas in 1892, Adda born in Texas in 1895, and Georgia born in Texas in 1897. In 1900 the family lived in Hill co Texas. William died in 1928 in Moberly Missouri. he worked on the railroad. His first marriage was to a Sara, From Texas in 1904. Their children was Galene and Millered Thorn, His second marriage was to Ara Fortner Smith. They married in Grayson co Texas. Their children were Marie, Frances Margaret, and Jessie Mae.In 1920 William and Ara lived in Allen Oklahoma, The children from the first marriage Galene and Millered were living with them and Baby Marie,born in 1919. After Willliams death in 1928. the 1930 Census has Ara and! the girls back in Sherman Texas with her Parents and no mention of Galene and Millered. I dont know what happen to them. I dont know any thing about Williams parents or his siblings. The only descendant I know of is their daughter Elizabeth who married William Yeager in 1809, Randolph county, (W)V. They may have lived in the Hampshire, Hardy Counties area of (W)V.
