My grandfather, Charles D. Colson (b. in Holden, ME, 1906), was the son of Charles F. Colson and Harriet Leah (Thompson) West (b. 4/1880). Harriet ("Hattie") was the daughter of Benjamin N. West (b. 7/1836, in Maine) and Annie B. (or L.?) Thompson, b. 5/1851. Benjamin and Annie were married in 1875. They were all in the Holden/Brewer/Eddington/Lincoln area of Penobscot County, Maine.
