I try to keep a record of those I correspond with but you're not on it. Perhaps I've seen your name of few times on this list and it is familiar to me. Anyway... I have over 120 Wilson names and over 120 Thompson names in my database (over 7500 documented names). Sorry, I don't have the ones you listed. With the names and locations so close, I bet they tie into one another somewhere along the lines. Sometimes, it takes years so don't be discouraged. I ran into a Thompson researcher whose dad was born in Kentucky just 50 miles from where my mother was born. We have tried to find a connecting name for almost 20 years. None yet, but they have to be connected somehow and we will keep trying. My brother and I looked for our George Thompson's wife's last name for almost 30 years. It was like her name had dropped into the Twilight Zone. Someone told us that her name was possibly Elizabeth and that she and George was possibly married in Baltimore but didn't have anything else on her. We found nothing. My brother passed away a few years ago but I have kept looking. Then one day I found her! After working with these records for so long, I don't think of the names as just 'names'. These were real people and they are connected to me. I sometimes catch myself talking to them. I know this sounds silly, and you probably think the old bird has gone off here rocker, but that's how I found Elizabeth's last name (Monarch). One day, I was checking the Baltimore marriage records for information on someone else and I thought of Elizabeth. I said something like, "Elizabeth you have to show me where your last name is recorded". Both my brother and I had checked these marriage records many times over the years and came up with nothing. All of a sudden, there she was. The marriage record of my George Thompson and Elizabeth Monarch, Strange? but true. After doing this work for many, many years, I'm convinced our relatives want to be found. We just don't listen closely enough for them to be heard or pay enough attention to where they are trying to direct us. So, don't give up looking for your George W. I know it is frustrating but he's out there somewhere. He wants to be found, so keep searching. Periodically we should tough base to see if something clicks.
