We seem to run into brick walls but then we find a loose brick. All I had to start was a couple of 1860 to 1880 letters and my dad saying Irish descent and Lunenburg Co. Found GGGgranfather before anyone else but I wrote it down. I copy all Thompson marriage records up to certain years as I go courthouse to courthouse because I have not found them yet. Did find an interesting will in Mecklenburg; had the right name. If you know of a Randolph(Randal) or a Benjamin let me know.
