Migrate to Missouri. Are on the census for 1870 in Carondelet, St Louis MO. Richard Thompson and Margarette, with childred, Richard, Maria, Harry and William. My understanding is that the father Richard was born at sea in 1841 coming to us. His mother was Bridget Fitzgerald born in 1810..don't know what happend to her husband.
