This is certainly confusing. I do not remember where I got that information on John. I do remember talking to someone years ago about Thompson information. I'll check and see if I can find correspondence or something. I want to fix any mistakes I have or add to my information. I have a Mary Patton married to the brother of Hugh Thompson. There again, I need to search and see where I got that info. I'm pretty sure the wife of Hugh is Eleanor Atkinson. I have seen that information on the net too, and do not know where that comes from.
