Kim DESCENDANTS OF DEBORAH THOMPSON First Generation 1. Deborah THOMPSON. Sir Robert Thompson thought that perhaps Thompson was Deborah's maiden AND married name. Deborah came from Co. Armagh in 1808. Deborah THOMPSON had the following children: 2 i. Robert THOMPSON I, born in 1795; married Anne HALLIDAY, about 1816; died on 30 Dec 1871, Lisburn, Belfast, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland. Second Generation 2. Robert THOMPSON I (Deborah THOMPSON-1) was born in 1795. He signed a will on 7 May 1869 in Lisburn, Belfast, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland. He was buried on 2 Jan 1872 in Friends Burying Ground, Lisburn, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland. He was a school master. He was a Quaker. He reputedly had 18 children, however there is no proof for this statement. Is this is a fanciful statement or did the other children die before Robert made his will? Robert THOMPSON I and Anne HALLIDAY were married about 1816. Anne HALLIDAY was born in 1795. She died on 19 Mar 1866 at the age of 71 years. She was buried on 22 Mar 1866 in Friends Burying Ground, Lisburn, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland. Robert THOMPSON I and Anne HALLIDAY had the following children: 3 i. James THOMPSON was born in 1817. He lived at Castle Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1851. He died on 30 May 1855 in Lisburn, Belfast, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland at the age of 38 years. 4 ii. John THOMPSON was born about 1819. He died on 30 Jul 1894 at the age of 75 years. He was buried in Lisburn Cemetery, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland. 5 iii. William THOMPSON was born about 1822. Robert THOMPSON JP and Elizabeth MCCORMICK were married before 1854. They lived in Belfast, Antrim Co., Northern Ireland in 1861. Elizabeth MCCORMICK was born in 1829 in England.
