My great grandfather( Charles Harry ) was born in Scotland about 1856. He and his family moved to England, where he met his wife Rebecca Warner. They moved to Nova Scotia and then Toronto. They had three children- Willim Henry b 1881,John Edward b 1885, and George Ernest b 1888. I do not know if Charles died or they got divorced, but 1890 Rebecca was married to a John Henry Thompson. Rebecca and John went on to have 7 more children. John Edward Thompson migrated to Michigan in 1910 and my grandfather George Ernest Thompson migrated to Rochester, NY also in 1910.
