My grandfather's mother was a Thompson, her name was Martha Jane b.1850's, she had two brothers James M. Thompson b. 1854 POB: AL and a half brother John F. Merrick. Her father was Enoch Thompson. Enoch second wife was Mary J. Rolan Merrick. Martha Jane and Edward F. Lee (my great grandfather) moved to Coryell Co (near Waco) they are listed on the 1880 census. My grandfather Rubin E.Lee was born in 1886 in Merkel, Texas. Are you by any chance from Greenville, Texas. I went to school with a Debbie Fannin, she was a few years younger than me.
