The 1930 Cumberland County Tennessee Census lists Earnest as age 35, head of household. Wife Blanch age 27. Children as follows: Reba age 9, Earnest Jr. age 6, Decoda(she later spelled it Dekota)age 4 2/12, Howard and Eloise both age 1 1/12, all in family listed as born in Tennessee. Dekota Thompson b. 4 Feb 1926 Tennessee, married William F. Cooper in Cumberland Co., on 20 Apr 1943, d. 5 Aug 1977 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Dekota and William had 2 children: William F. Jr.(Bill) and Mary Ann. My husband, Michael is Bill's middle son. We've been doing family research for quite some time. I've just found Dekota's parents yesterday.
