I have in my family a Jeremiah and Louisa Thompson. Their daughter Sarah was born 1840 in Alleghany and was raised in Cumberland County. She was full blooded American Indian. I haven't been able to go any further than Jeremiah, her father in the family tree. Does anyone out there have any more information?
