The birth certificate says New Scarbro' Mirfield U.S.A. but the three places do not match. Harold was married twice but i have no information on his first wife whom he had 3 children with, 2 girls and 1 boy called dudley. His second wife was called Lydia Victoria Briggs and they went on to have my nan Dorothy. They lived on the wirral but i believe my grandad travelled to canada or usa for a short period.
