My grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Thompson Joiner and her mother was,(if i have this right), a great grand daughter of General Wiley Thompson. As a young boy of about 9 years, I would listen to conversations between my grandmother and other relatives about Gen. Wiley Thompson and how he was killed in Fla. by the indians many, many, years ago. My grandmother had three brothers, Arch Thompson, Dothan, Ala.
