My great great grandfather was William H. Thompson b. 14 Feb 1848 d. 24 Jan 1935 - married to Josephine B. McDOWELL b. 1855 d. 1901. They lived in Curwensville PA & had 9 children - one of whom was Jessie B. who gave birth to my grandmother Marie Evelyn Thompson (yes - out of wedlock). William's parents were James b. 12 Oct 1815 Glen Richey PA d. 1887 Marriage: 1843 Catherine HEPBURN b. 7 Mar 1824 d. 1925. He worked on family farm until 1848 when they moved to Curwensville. I have info going further back if anyone else has some folks in this line. I'd love more details about James' parents. I have: Ignatius b. 1784 (Shady Grove, Huntingdon County, PA) d. 1861 Marriage: 1846? Mary Norris Moved to Glen Richey, PA about 1810/1812 Ignatius was one of 8-9 and his father was Peter b. 1748 Pipe Creek, Carroll Co., MD. I have nothing re Peter's wife nor his mother or siblings.
