My GGGGGrandparents were James Thompson and Sallie Renfro. It is stated that he was born in NOrth Carolina and Lived In Virginia. He Had land in Buncombe Co. North Carolina with his son Nathaniel Thompson. He had 12 Children. Could this be the same James Thompson. I have been having a terrible time finding anything out about him.
