Hi All, I am researching Thompson's Ireland to Canada. My family immigrated to Ontario, Canada about 1853 from Armagh?, Ireland. My Joseph Thompson was married to Isabella Rutherford. They settled in Mono Township. Joseph was born about 1800 and Isabella was born about 1820. Joseph's father was probably John, and Joseph had at least 2 brothers immigrate also, to the same area. I know this is sketchy and that is why I need help. Who are my Thompson's and Who are my Rutherfords. From Joseph and Isabella's roots in Canada I am fine but their pre-Canada years are lost to our family.
