I have been unable to find him before 1900 in Pennsylvania, which leads me to believe he was not born in PA. However, the censuses I have are saying he was born in Pennsylvania and so were his mother and father. Alice M. was born in 1867. I am not sure of her maiden name. I am not sure of her death date either. I have no names for brothers and sisters yet for either Orville or Alice. I am going purely off of census information and the bit of information my grandmother can provide me. She doesn't know much about anyone beyond her grandfather and grandmother, Walter L. Thompson and Ida E. Swanger. I've actually mentioned names from the censuses and she has remembered hearing them, but not much more. Orville and Alice had four children: Arthur M. (1887-), Walter L.(1889-), Della M. (1892-), and Rose D. (1894-). The only grandchildren I know for them are from Walter L. and Ida E. Swanger : Sarah E. (1914-), Doris H. (1916-), Nellie M. (1918-), Laurence D. (1920-), Ray W. (1921-), and Wayne R. (1928-). Anything you can provide would be wonderful! Even a point in the direction to head next for more information. Thank you!
