She married Nathan Allen (1832-1905) on 7 Nov 1857, in LaPorte, Indiana. Her father was James W Thompson, b. 9 Dec 1807 in Virginia, d. 17 Oct 1879 in Westville, LaPorte, Indiana. Her mother's name was Deborah, b. 17 Dec 1811 in Shenandoah, Virginia, d. 26 Mar 1898 in Westville, LaPorte, Indiana. Jemima was apparently a Quaker, as she is buried in the Marion I.O.O.F./Friends/Boots/Estates of Serenity Cemetery,Grant Co, IN, but I don't know if her parents were Quakers.
