Author: ayla87_1 Surnames: Thompson Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.thompson/18377.6/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My 3rd gr-grandfather was named Leander Thompson, and his father was Thomas Houston Thompson who was born in 1815 in Bucks Co, PA. I cannot find any further information on Thomas Houston Thompson, except I know there was a Dr. Thomas Huston Thompson, but the his immediate family did not match mine. I am going to continue to research this, but if there is anybody who knows anything that may help me, it would be greatly appreciated. He apparently lived in Pennsylvania until about 1849, because he was in the 1850 Adams Co, Ohio census, although all his children had previously been born in Pennsylvania, except his two youngest.
