Thompson, 86, passed away on Thursday June 6, 2013 at her home. She was born in Bradford, NY., on June 4, 1927 the daughter of the late Robert and Rose Buckley Wolverton. She retired from the Bath VA after 27 years. She loved flowers and gardening, and taking rides in the country. She was a member of the Mormon Church Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bath, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, David Thompson and a brother, Walter Wolverton. She is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Thompson of Bath, NY., Sharon Wheeler of Bath, NY.; grandchildren, Karin Abbott of Austin TX., Justin (Michelle) Thompson of Ocala, FL.; great-grandchildren Taylor Tomelson, Alyse Thompson, Logan Abbott, step grandchildren Rob (Karmella) Jones and Severan Jones; very special sister-in-law Marge Church of Canandaigua, NY.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are being observed on Monday June 10, 2013 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints on Rumsey St. in Bath, NY. Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery Bath, NY.
