William born 1845 Christened in the Killowen Presbyterian Church Ann born 1846 Christened in the Presbyterian Church Killowen (IN SOUTH AFRICA I can only find an Anna Amelia Thompson in the faily and THINK that that may be the ANN that was born in Killowen. Coleraine WILLIAM THOMPSON's father would have been a (Thompson William Laurel Hill Corn & Meal Seller 1839) My William Thompson was definitely from Laurel Hill, that was in the Belfast news report about William Thompson of Laurel Hill and Charlotte's Yates from Killowen daughter of the Late Mr YATES marriage on the 1st December 1840 in Killowen, Coleraine by Rev MacCaldin (He was presbyterian but the marriage did NOT take place in the Presbyterian Church. This info was e mailed to me by Joe Cassells) As yet I have not been able to find any more on my Great grand parents but anything you have would be gratefully received I await in anticipation Regards Elaine ""There is a reference to the baptism of "William, son of William Thompson snr of Killowen Street". DOB is given as 30 March 1845 and baptism 6 July 1845 in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev William Richey, who by that time was minister of First Coleraine. The Rev Andrew McCaldin would have been his predecessor. There was also an Anna Thompson who I presume was a sister, born 15 December 1846 and baptised on 1 May 1847. These are the only Thompson's in our baptismal records."" Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
