Hello, I just looked your book up on Amizon.com. "The Wooden Bible" lists James the Lame Thompson in the index at the back of the book, on pages 64-76. There are 20 used copies available for $13.24 each. Hope this helps. I've seen several trees online that show James "The Lame" as the father of William Thompson (abt 1794 - abt 1880). I can find no documentation in any of these trees. Is there anything about William in the book? He married Catherine Moorhead and they had 6 children. I'll happily buy the book if it pertains to our family, but I've gone down too many deadends and cannot afford to do it again. Thanks for whatever help you can give.
