This may well be the mother of Mercer, Joseph, Mary and James Thompson. This same Leonard Thompson is also most likely the father of Melinda, Elizabeth, Nancy, Alexander, John and possibly Francis Marion Thompson born 1814. Leonard Thompson may have been an uncle to some of the above children. It hasn't all been ironed out. There was a Leonard Thompson married to Elizabeth Kelsey, which poses a conflict. Two possibilities; 1) he was another Leonard Thompson 2) he had two sons named Francis Marion Thompson. But when you read the conflicting information it will startle you.
