They also appear on the census that year and in their home was also Eliss Elsroe, age 20. They appear in future census records as well, listing children as Julia, Isom, Curtis and Charles Johan (known as Isham or Isom) was from North Carolina, married to Delilah, and they had several children including Abigail, Judith, William, Elijah, Sarah, John Wesley, Delilah, Isham, Francis, Missouri and Tennessee.
