I've "rescued" three old photographs of Ella BARRETT. The first was taken at the O'Neill Studio in Wheeling, West Virginia sometime in the 1890's. Ella appears to be in her teens at the time this photograph was taken. The second photograph does not include a studio or location but also appears to have been taken in the 1890's. This second photograph includes the names "Burnette and Lent" along with reference to "Albion, NY" on the back of the photograph. Ella appears to be in her teens or 20's in the second photograph. The third photograph of Ella BARRETT was taken at the C. H. Howes Studio in Ithaca, NY. The photograph also appears to have been taken in the 1890' with Ella likely in her 20's at the time. Thanks to a BARRETT Family Researcher I was able to gather the following information regarding Ella and her family: Ellen "Ella" Elizabeth BARRETT was b. about 1881, the daughter of James Andrew Howe BARRETT and Margaret L. THOMPSON. Ella married Ben T. GILES and together they had two children, Marvin Thomas and Lolene Bazelle GILES, born in 1901 and 1904 respectively. Lolene married George EADS in 1930 and son Marvin married Teresa? I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photographs can be returned to the care of her family.
