Supposedly my ancestor was of the area around St. George's Manor by the 1770's. Not sure if he was born there. Does anyone else have a Thompson who would have lived in the same area (Suffolk) before the War? I'm looking for potential lines to follow. He's kind of a brick wall as is the family he married into.
