I hope you get this message. You mentioned a name around Emporia Ks. Albert Thompson, if it is the same person, was my grandfather. He married my grandmother in April of 1918 in Coffey Co. Ks., in Burlington. Later they lived in Chanute where he worked for a company called H. E. Coulter Transfer Co. It was said that his parents lived around Emporia, but I don't have any names. It would be interesting to find out what years were talking about. No one has ever been able to find any of my grandfathers family as my grandmother would not talk about him. All she said was that he was gone before my father was born, whatever that meant. ANY info would be greatly appreciated as it's been a long search for my grandfather, what happened to him, or anything of his family. Thanks..
