I have never seen that table on FTDNA and I had my Thompson DNA tested by FTDNA in 2008. The only chart I have seen is on the World Families site and I have not been able to get the Administrator to upload my test results in 2 years. I found my test results already loaded in the chart connected to the link you supplied. Are there other surname charts on the FTDNA site? How do you get to the Thompson chart through the FTDNA site without your direct link? I'd like to look for other surname charts. I tried to go to www.familytreedna.com/public/Haney (Haney is the other surname in which I am interested) and www.familytreedna.com/public/ but neither worked. DNA test results can only be helpful if you match with someone who has more family information than you and is willing to share it. My Haney DNA is in a group with 6 other people on World Families but there is not enough family information between all of us to show how we are connected and to move the line back another generation. I was hoping my Thompson DNA would help me find more info on John Thomson (ca 1677-1724) and his wife Esther Hale in Antrim county, Ulster, Northern Ireland (my 8th great grandparents) but to date it has not helped in furthering the search for the family line. I agree that the 67 marker test is required to have any chance of actually making this work in furthering the search for that next preceding generation.
