It covers a chapter in a book I'm preparing on the history of the Ft Niagara Lighthouse, of which he was the Keeper for a short time while also the Commandant of the military post. Yes, his wife was Mary Waldron, who was the step-daughter of Elias Nexsen (with 2 E's). AR died on Christmas day, 1837 (not 1832) at the Battle of Okeechobee, FL, the first decisive US vistory in tthe first 2 Seminole Indian wars.
