    1. [THOMPSON] Subject line that will get attention for research.
    2. Kathy Londo Barnes
    3. I don't know how long the "I want to speak to any Thompson" thread has been going on-well over a year?  It'll go away and people will be able to obtain information that is helpful to their research if we're all proactive in making the change. When I make a post, the subject line looks like this:  THOMPSON, Frederick, Michigan, Montcalm Co. D. 1990 I'm specific with who I'm looking for, where he lived  and when he died.  Anyone either in the area or that is researching the line, will immediately pick up on it. I always attempt to post the information on where and when the subject lived. It's a suggestion. Happy hunting, Kathy Researching: THOMPSON, Robert last found in Michigan.  Trying to find out where my illusive Robert Thompson actually came from according the the census' information some read Vermont, some read Ireland.  He died sometimes after the 1870 census.  Place of buried-unknown.  Husband of Surrissa (Syrisa, Clorissa, Thresa & Clarissa-depending on the document) LOCKWOOD, father of Polly, Sarah, Joseph, Smith & Ellen.  Surrissa is buried in the Anderson Cemetery in Decatur,  Van Buren County, MI. ________________________________ From: Mike <[email protected]> To: [email protected]; [email protected] Sent: Sun, December 5, 2010 2:20:56 PM Subject: Re: [THOMPSON] Long past time to end this thread Amen! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2010 2:08 PM Subject: Re: [THOMPSON] Long past time to end this thread > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: mattanderson1 > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.thompson/7774.447.1.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > I must agree totally with Michael P. > It has got to the stage where I don't bother reading this particular > thread of messages as it is just boring now and no real use to many.
