I think they had six children, four were born in Canada (possibly in Ontario Province) and two were born in St. Lawrence County, NY. Robert Thompson died before the 1880 US Federal Census. Margaret is listed as head of household in St. Lawrence Co., NY. When and where did Robert die? Margaret is buried in the Ogdensburgh City cemetery in Ogdensburg,St. Lawrence,NY - in section 19. Margaret is buried next to Ann Jane Town Thompson, wife of her son Robert. Ann Jane Town Thompson died 28 April 1884 - age 23 years and 8 months. Margaret Boyd Thompson was possibly born in Quebec, Canada (I do not know whether the city or the province).
