Thanks for the reply -- but sounds like we do not have a "connect" My brother did DNA for Thompson line. Our closest match is a David Logan Hanks, Jr. who is the descendant of a John Wesley Hanks in b in 1871 as the son of a "H. Thompson" and a Hanks widow who would have lost her Civil War pension if she married --- so we have had a hard time. Our brick wall is Thomas Patterson Thompson b. 1808 in GA He died in Civil War in 1861. We have the list of his sons, but no infor on his parents. The puzzle is the only exact match from the DNA is a David Logan Hanks, Jr. who was descended from a H. Thompson in Alabama. Thanks for your help. We would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. He migrated from MS in 1902 and settled in VanZandt, Co, Texas where he raised my father, Kermit H. Smith. Hiram is listed several ways in various documents. One listing is Henry A. Hiram Thompson. He was married to Martha Lollar and one of their daughters, Belle, was my grandmother. She died shortly after giving birth to my father in 1902 and is probably buried in Ark. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
