She was born Tuesday, Oct. 23, 1928, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Harold J. and Marcella Baer Dadosky. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Sue Baker of Marietta, Ohio; one son, Robert Joseph Thompson (Marie Pokorny) of Greenville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Valorie Ashburn (Jeff) of Columbus,Ohio, Lucas Baker (Johanna) of Marietta, Christina Kelley (Chris) of Raleigh, N.C., and Julia Cranford (Jeb) of Rougemont, N.C.; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shirley Thompson, in 2000; one son, William Andrew Thompson; two brothers; and three sisters. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 10) at the East Lawn Memorial Park Chapel.
