I am a descendant of William Herbert of Lead Mines, VA, father of the William Herbert who is connected to Robert Thompson of NC. My ancestor, Thomas Herbert who married Sarah Crockett, was also a son of William Herbert of Lead Mines, VA. So your William and my Thomas were brothers. I have a lot of information on that Herbert family that lived in SW VA. from ca 1764. I am very interested to know more about the children of the William Herbert whose daughter, Catherine, m.
