Per Samuel and Agnes' marriage certificate from Victoria Australia, Samuel's parents are William Thompson and Martha Patten. I am currently researching this line as well and would love to correspond. I recently located Agnes' obituary at the Pickaway Co Historical Society. Also have some historical documents that might help as well. Martha is my direct ancestor too.
