Albert Gaston Thompson was supposedly born in Nebraska, April 7, 1886. I don't have any info on his parents or siblings. These still remain a puzzle. His son, my father, was born Dec. 12, 1921 in Burlington Kansas. Albert was not present when my father was born for some reason. My grandmother would not talk about it. Sometime between May and December if 1921 he seemingly disappears off the face of the planet. I'll check the Dewberry boards for more info. In the mean time, should you run across any info, please forward it to me. Thank you much. "Garry" Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I wonder if any other Thompson seekers have come across a James A Thompson who was in Persia in the 19th.century Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hi everyone. I'm still looking for my William M. Thompson born ca 1797 in KY or VA. There are 4 families I'm looking at. 1. William Mills Thompson, son of William Mills Thompson and Mary Jane Barker. William Mills Thompson Sr. was the son of William Mills Thompson and Catherine Wigginton Broadus. This family ties into the Meriwether family somehow. They were from VA. 2. William Thompson , son of William Thompson and Anne Rhodes. William Jr. married Frances Quarles and they had a son William probably born in the right time frame. 3. William Thompson born ca 1797, son of David Thompson Sr. and David's cousin, Eleanor Thompson. They lived in Woodford CO., KY. This thompson family connects to the Waddy Thompsons of VA. 4. David Thompson born ca 1775 in VA married Mary Swope. David was the son of Robert Thompson and Catherine (Corragon?). David and Mary's daughter, Catherine Thompson born ca 1801 married William Coldstream Gough, the brother of my Susannah Gough who married the William M. Thompson I'm looking for. Its very possible that William is a nephew or cousin to David Thompson. He is not David's son, as far as I can see. Does anyone have any information about these families that would help me connect or eliminate William from them? There is also a mistake about James Thompson and Elizabeth Adamson in your Family tree, which I guess you got from the 1880 census, William Thompson [in the census] was not James and Elizabeths son he was James's grandson from a first marriag! e, I am happy to post everything I have, if you send your address I will post tomorrow, and you will get it in abt 10 days. Found this at NEHGS - 19 Sept, 1900 Fall River - Marriage Adamson Mills age 25, Teamster born Canada, s/o William and Helen Adamson, living 84 B/F?? oote St, Fall River. Annie Greenhalgh age 23, Pentagrapher born England, d/o Samuel and Betty Lord, living 486 Birch St, Fall River. This may be Victoria, I think it is a mis spelling of her Mother's name. 12 Feb. 1887, Haverhill, Mass Victoria Mills age 22, Housework born Nova Scotia, Parents William and Ellen??, 1st Marriage Joseph M White age 42, Halter born Nova Scotia, Parents John and Emily. 2nd Marriage. I will check some of the census's before I send it to you Sorry I could not e mail directly my computer refuses to send to that e mail address.
