Jame's 5x-grandson, 197.vi Solomon Thompson, was the only Thompson of my lineage to both survive the revolution and to remove himself and his family out of the Brimfield, MA., area, first to Chautauqua, NYS, and then northward into what is now Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. My line, out of Solomon follows that of his son 197.6.6 Charles. That means their children could have been born anywhere between 1792 and 1812. I found the information in a microfilm copy of the book "Cromwell, Harris, Montgomery, and Allied Families" by Florence Rebecca Harris who was the granddaughter of Virginia Luctretia Pratt Harris who was the granddaughter of Jason Thompson. I have Jason's parents as Jesse Thompson and Elizabeth Hurst and Lucretia's parents as Benjamin Elliott and Mary Fauquier. I am hoping someone can fill me in on some of the children.
