They is record of James and Emmie travelling to England from Valparaiso in 1917 along with their children: Emmie Thompson b. abt 1911 William James Thompson b. abt 1912 Grace Elizabeth Thompson b. abt 1914 James was listed as a farm manager. There is also record of Grace traveling to England in 1938 from Valparaiso in 1938. Her occupation was listed as a nurse. Any help or direction where to look would be appreciated.
