I am trying to find the parents of William Thompson b c 1829 possibly forton, Great Stainton or Aycliffe. Sorry for being so vague but on most of the census records it is recorded as UK. He married Margaret Barron b 1840 in 1857 Chester Le Street she died in 1874. He then went on to marry Ann Barron (his dead wifes sister) in 1876. On the 1891 census he is living with Frances Bowman b 1826 Aycliffe, who is in fact his sister. So I now have Frances Thompson b1826 Aycliffe & William Thompson b 1829 and I just cannot find any parents or any other siblings. Can anyone help me please. I believe I gave you some wrong info though and I am so sorry, Robert (Bob) Thompson 1825-1925 died at age 100 married Eliza Ann Douglas 1824-1889 died at age 65 would have been my Grate, Grate, Grate Grand Paw and Grand Maw. John Hamilton Thompson 10/7/1864-8/20/1933 died at age 69 married Beulah Tyree 9/13/1868-8/23/1954 died at age 86 would have been my Grate, Grate Grand Paw and Grand Maw. And then there was as you know Grand paw and Grand Maw It is good to here from someone who is family, do hope to here from you soon and if you would tell Kurt as well as Curt I said hello. That would make John Hamilton Thompson 10/07/1864-08/20/1937 my grate, great grand paw and Beulah Thompson my grate, grate grad mow witch once was Beulah Tyree once from Louisiana and was sold at the age of 15 years old. The man you have in question I think was, my grate, grate uncle. His name was Robert Thompson1825-1925, but went by Bob; He was the brother of John Hamilton.
